Blog Hop, Stamped Cards, Stampin' Up!, Stamping

August 2021 Casually Crafting Blog Hop

Welcome to the August 2021 Casually Crafting Blog Hop! We are Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world who love to create cards ideal for the beginner or casual crafter. This month we’re taking on a colo(u)r challenge with Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, and Polished Pink.

Funny story: I was out of town for a couple of days, and thought I had ink pads and cardstock ready to start creating when I got back home on Friday afternoon. Well, I’m still not sure what I had originally been planning to do with Pear Pizzazz, Pale Papaya, and Flirty Flamingo, but I look forward to sharing a couple of cards I made with them soon! When I realized I had used the wrong color combination, I ended up choosing an entirely different stamp set that I don’t think I’ve used yet (I have used the coordinating dies), Color & Contour.

I started with Polished Pink Cardstock, 11″ x 4.25, scored at 5.5″. Next, I stamped the flower image with Early Espresso ink on a panel of Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock, 5″ x 3.75″. I colored with image with Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.

I added a Pear Pizzazz strip, 5″ x 0.5″, from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper near the right and left edges of the Very Vanilla panel. I added the panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso, punched it out with the Double Oval Punch, and added Daffodil Delight ink around the edge with a sponge dauber. I popped this up with more Dimensionals.

Finally, I added Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

I hope you enjoyed the project I shared today! Please continue hopping and finding more inspiration by selecting the next link below. If you received this by email, please select the title at the top to visit my website and find the blog hop list.
