July 2021 Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop – Christmas in July

Welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop! The Crafty Collaborations team comprises Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world. Each month, we participate in several collaborative projects, including blog hops like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

This month our Stampin’ Dreams are all about Christmas in July. I knew I had to use one of the Designer Series Papers I just ordered, Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ (it’s 15% off through August 2! – link to the sale below and you can find the flyer on my Promotions and Rewards page).

I’ve also been looking forward to trying out a tree from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set with the new In Color Evening Evergreen. For design inspiration, I turned to a favorite easy fun fold — you can find the measurements here.

I punched out the sentiment with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, then trimmed off the top and bottom to fit more closely to the words. I then added some ink to the top and bottom with a sponge dauber.

I felt that the Soft Succulent cardstock was light enough to stamp and write on, but you could add a piece of Basic White cardstock, perhaps keeping it the full 2-1/2″ wide for a wider sentiment, but leaving some of the green showing at the top and bottom.

I hope you enjoyed the card I shared today! Please continue hopping and finding more inspiration by selecting the next link below. If you received this by email, please select the title at the top to visit my website and find the blog hop list.
