Kits Collection Blog Hop

Welcome to the Kits Collection Blog Hop! The Crafty Collaborations team comprises Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world. Each month, we participate in several collaborative projects, including blog hops like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

In this blog hop, we’re featuring Stampin’ Up!’s new Kits Collection, particularly helping inspire you with projects you can make with the included stamps after the rest of your kit supplies have been used.

The For the Guys Card Kit helps you create some lovely cards. I particularly like the way the banner die cuts fold to raise them up to add dimension. The stamp set has versatile sentiments and includes many of the people you may want to send or give a card to. You can see more about this kit in the video linked below.

The stamp set is a great one to keep on hand to add quick and easy sentiments such as “Happy Birthday,” “Happy Anniversary,” “Thank You,” and more to any card you create.

For this project, I chose a showstopper print from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and added the matching section from the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate. Both items retire at the end of this month and are available while supplies last. The acetate is 50% off.

This simple design could work for any of the sentiments in the For the Guys stamp set and extend their use to anyone, not just the guys. I opted to use the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for my sentiment, but this would look great without the decorative edge too.

It was a challenge to get the gold on the acetate to show up without also showing my lights in the reflection. This looks wonderful in person! You can find a button below with the list of products I used.

I hope you enjoyed the card I shared today! Please continue hopping and finding more inspiration by selecting the next link below. If you received this by email, please select the title at the top to visit my website and find the blog hop list.
