Jolly Gingerbread – November 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

I am so happy to be sharing a few Paper Pumpkin kit alternatives with you! The focus is on the November 2020 kit, Jolly Gingerbread, but I’m sneaking in a couple from June and July that I haven’t shared yet.

But first, here are the projects the kit is intended to help you create, a set of super cute gift card holders. The front has a few options for sentiments.

The reverse side is also adorable!

I do have one recommendation for you to make these fast and easy — use the Stamparatus to set up the two stamps used for the design. After setting it up, I was able to stamp all six sides and put together my holders very quickly with no worries about flubbing my stamping.

For my first alternative project, I wanted to create a card using the house stamp that is included in the kit, but not with the gingerbread look.

I also wanted to use the fantastic Classic Christmas 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) that is available for a limited time (more information about that here). I ended up choosing Gray Granite for my house color, and embossed a layer in that color cardstock with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.

I punched out the DSP with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, and stamped the sentiment from a leftover piece popped out from a piece in the kit.

For my second alternative project, I went back to the easy fun fold I’ve been loving over the past few months. I first described it in this post.

I added Mint Macaron cardstock and a Cinnamon Cider print from the 2020–2022 In Color 6″ X 6″ DSP.

This gives me the opportunity to share a couple other Paper Pumpkin alternatives I created over the summer using this same easy fun fold. The first is from the June 2020 Box of Sunshine kit. All I added here was Basic Black cardstock.

My final card is from the July 2020 Summer Nights kit. I added just the card base of Blackberry Bliss.
