I am so glad that I decided to sign up for another year of the Demonstrator Support Program run by Bruno and Kylie Bertucci. I learned so much during the first year, but I didn’t always have the time I really needed to do the work. It’s all about continuous improvement, right? This year, the monthly blog hops for participants in the program will focus on thanking our customers for all you do to support our businesses.

Here’s the project I’m sharing with you today!

All I knew when I started designing this card was that I wanted to use the Note Cards and Envelopes (pre-cut 5″x3.5″ note cards with coordinating envelopes, in either Whisper White or Very Vanilla) and the Plaid Tidings 6×6 Designer Series Paper, which is part of this month’s Designer Series Paper Sale. I went through my stamp set collection looking for a “thank you” sentiment, and chose the one from the Butterfly Gala stamp set. I cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and added some ink on the edges with a sponge dauber.

Next, I went to my embossing folders, because now that I have the new Stampin’ Cut and Emboss, I can emboss gorgeous pieces that I hadn’t been able to get with my old Big Shot the past few years. I liked the look of the swirling leaves from the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders set, and thought it might be fun to punch out butterflies from the plaid paper with the Butterfly Duet Punch to fly above the leaves.

I also stamped a couple of small butterflies on the inside of the card and the front of the envelope.
