Rooted in Nature – Part Three

I’m going to throw a whole bunch of cards into this post, because some of the products I used in this series are retiring and today’s the last chance to purchase some of them. Of particular note is that while Rooted in Nature is carrying over to the new catalog, the coordinating Nature’s Roots dies will be in the new style, so the current Sizzix ones are marked down significantly.

First up is a set of three cards that include #simplestamping — where all you need is stamps, ink and paper — stepping it up a bit for a casual crafter, and then one for a more avid crafter. Do you have a favorite?

I love making 3″ x 3″ cards.

The following card features the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder and Label Me Bold stamp set from the January to June 2020 Mini Catalog, and the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets and Nature’s Twine from the 2019-2020 annual catalog, all of which I’m sad to see retire. Except for Label Me Bold, they are currently all still available, though! (Label Me Bold is still available in French.)

My final card in this series features the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper from the about-to-retire mini catalog. It is just lovely and has 21 different coordinating colors, making it pretty easy to find something to work with so many different colors of cardstock you might have on hand.

It really was a fun challenge to use one stamp set to come up with a variety of cards. Let me know beginning June 3 (or today if you have a catalog in your hands!) if there’s a stamp set you’d like me to try this with over the summer!
