Welcome to the June 2020 Technique Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be part of this fun collaboration with fellow demonstrators. This month’s theme is the spotlight technique. I can’t wait to show you my project!

Forever Greenery Spotlight 1
Forever Greenery Spotlight

I chose to use something that will be available in the new catalog coming on June 3, the Forever Greenery Suite. The suite features six shades of green with gold accents.

Spotlight with Gold Hoop

For the spotlight, I punched a 2″ circle out of a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of designer series paper, colored in the white with the light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends, then attached it to a punched 2-1/4″ Garden Green cardstock circle. I attached a new embellishment, Gold Hoops.

Sentiment

The sentiment was made with a new punch I think you’re going to love, the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. It not only has two different designs, but you can make your label a few different heights and as wide as you like. For this, after I stamped the sentiment (from the new Forever Fern stamp set) in Garden Green, I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock that was 3-1/4″ x 3/4″, then punched on both ends. I also used a sponge dauber to add Pear Pizzazz ink around the edges.

I couldn’t help but add a few more embellishments. The gold leaves are from the Forever Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper, and I also added clear rhinestones colored with the dark Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends.

Thank you for hopping to my site and checking out my project! If you saw something you love, please contact your demonstrator to place your order. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I would love to help you!
