One of the best parts of being an independent Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator is the demonstrator community, and one aspect of that is being able to celebrate each other’s achievements and milestones. I am a member of Rachel Tessman’s team and very happy to congratulate her on reaching the One Million Career-to-Date Sales milestone. She is the 50th demonstrator to reach this milestone. You can see the milestone announcement here.
Our theme for this blog hop celebration is to create and share a project inspired by Rachel in some way. Rachel inspires me to actually try fun (aka fancy) folds, which don’t necessarily come naturally to me. I chose Rachel’s Bay Window Fold Card from November 2019, one I’ve been meaning to try for a while, as my inspiration. You can find her blog post, including an instructional video, here.
One great feature of this fun fold is that it can easily stand on its own to display your creation.
This fold is great for patterned paper that has a scenic look to it. This sheet is from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper, which is retiring at the end of month and available while supplies last. All the papers in this pack are lovely, but this sheet is a particular favorite of mine. I’ve shared another card using it here.
I chooe sentiments from the new Elegantly Said Stamp Set. For the one punched out with the Elegant Tag Punch, I first cut a strip that is 1-1/4”wide rather than the full width of the punch.
The sentiment on the front features the Banners Pick a Punch and Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. I finished the card with Pastel Pearls. You can find a button below that will take you to the product list.
I hope you enjoyed the project I shared! Please select the “Next Blog” button to visit the next stop on the hop with Amy Rudd.

That is definitely a fold that makes me think of Rachel. Beautiful card.

Love your fold, Kristie!

You are such a sweetheart Kristie! Thank you. ?
And wow!!…LOVE your Bay Window Fold Card. This is the PERFECT paper for this card. And how clever to punch a narrow piece of cardstock with the Elegant Tag punch. It fits so well in that spot. Bravo!! ?

Kristie,
I love the card with this paper! It’s the perfect combination! Thanks for sharing the tribute to Rachel along with the beautiful card. I love how she inspires fun folds too! You knocked this one out of the park.

This is beautiful! And it’s my favorite paper from that pack, too!
