Welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop! I’m joining a group of independent Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world to share inspiration with you. Today we’re sharing ways to use coloring techniques in our projects.
For a softer look, I love using watercolor pencils with Blender Pens. I stamped the image from the Quiet Meadow stamp set with Saddle Brown StazOn ink, then colored it with the Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo watercolor pencils, focusing on the lines provided in the image.
I then filled out the color with a blender pen, being careful to not overdo it, since I was using regular cardstock rather than watercolor paper.
Another favorite coloring technique of mine is to color embellishments like the Basic Pearls with Stampin’ Blends markers to match my project.
I hope you enjoyed the card I shared today! Please continue hopping and finding more inspiration by selecting the next link below. If you received this by email, please select the title at the top to visit my website and find the blog hop list.
