I’m excited to be participating in Kylie Bertucci’s Monthly International Blog Highlights with Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world! The theme this and every month is Thank You.
This past Saturday morning I participated in an online crafting retreat with other demonstrators, where we were given a sketch challenge we could choose whether or not to try. I find it hard to resist a challenge like this, and a good sketch can serve to kick my butt out of a design slump.
When I saw the banners in this sketch, it made me think of a stamp from a new set I recently received that will be in the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, You Are Amazing. It coordinates with a same-named project kit I’m looking forward to playing with soon.
I thought this fun stamp set would be great to use with the Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper (DSP).
I changed things up a little by making the horizontal strip a label and placing it above the smaller rectangular piece. One of the other demonstrators used ribbon for her banners, which I thought would be a great way to use the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.
When I thought it would be fun to color each letter of the stamp in the different colors in the DSP, I hadn’t really thought about the fact that each color was from a different color pack of Stampin’ Write Markers!
I’d love it if you were to vote for me! The top 10 will participate in a blog hop toward the end of December. Just look for my card in the gallery.
