I am pretty sure that this is my final post sharing projects that include products that are retiring as of May 3. Today’s projects have in common that I used foil sheets that are retiring: Silver and Champagne. The Brass Foil Sheets I used for one of yesterday’s cards are also retiring.
This card was created for a swap where the theme was to include a metallic foil or accent or something shiny. I went all in with Silver Foil Sheets and Rainbow Glimmer Paper.
I die cut the butterflies from different areas of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper, which resulted in purple/pink, green/blue, and pink/orange/yellow variations.
The sentiment is from the Hippo Happiness stamp set, punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch. For the Silver Foil layer, I cut the punched piece in half and attached to the top and bottom of the sentiment layer.
I created this card for the Demos Galore event back in January using the bundle I demonstrated, Many Messages. This was my version of the fun fold featured for that event, the Circle Punch Flap Fold. You can find out more, including seeing the fold in action, in this video.
The retiring Peony Garden Designer Series Paper is just lovely, and works well with the Champagne Foil Sheets and Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
The Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch is a fun way to use multiple designs from a pack of paper and to create a sentiment label.
