Welcome to the April 2021 Casually Crafting Blog Hop! We are Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world who love to create cards ideal for the beginner or casual crafter. This month we’re taking on a challenge based on this sketch.
This sketch made me think about how important circle punches are to have in your crafting collection, and that the three circle punches that Stampin’ Up! currently carries are all retiring soon. I used all three to create this card featuring a few other last-chance items. If you don’t have them yet, I recommend considering ordering them while they’re available.
I have really loved the unique look of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (60% off while supplies last), including that some of it feels like I’m revisiting the 1970s.
The Here’s a Card stamp set is another great addition to your collection, full of a variety of sentiments.
I added just a little extra to the corners of the patterned paper with the Detailed Trio Punch, one that I’m very glad isn’t retiring! The Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels are also continuing into the next annual catalog. The Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack is, however, retiring (now 60% off while supplies last).
I hope you enjoyed the project I shared today! Please continue hopping and finding more inspiration by selecting the next link below. If you received this by email, please select the title at the top to visit my website and find the blog hop list.

Pretty card. Love the ribbon detailing. Thanks for sharing x

Thanks, Sara! I had some fun playing with the ribbon to do something a little different! I’ve done something like this layered behind a sentiment, but not shown off by itself this way.

I love the bright happy colours and the ribbon element is so clever on the card.

HI Kristie, thank you for sharing such a beautiful card! I’ll be very sad to see this DSP retire.

This is a very striking card with that bold and beautiful DSP as the hero!
