It probably doesn’t come across in my blog posts very well, but in person, you’d learn quickly that I have a pretty dry sense of humor and that my default response is often sarcasm. When I first saw the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Approaching Perfection, I knew I had to acquire it as quickly as possible. As a demonstrator who attended our virtual OnStage event in early November, I had it in-hand in mid-November, and I sent this card to a few friends for their December birthdays.
I used the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (DSP), also a free Sale-A-Bration item, on the card and to create the daisies. I thought the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder was a complementary look to the circle sort of pattern on the DSP.
As I do, I colored the rhinestone on the flower with the dark Blackberry Bliss Blends marker, though I did leave the others clear this time. 🙂
